Roger W. Selle, age 77, a life-long resident of Valders, passed away early Tuesday, morning, April 27, 2021 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Roger was born on October 26, 1943, son of the late Edmund and Elsie (Fischer) Selle. He attended Valders public schools and graduated with the class of 1961 from Valders High School. Roger went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1964. He was employed at the Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry until his retirement. Roger was a member of St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church, Newtonburg and the American Legion Post# 28.
He is survived by his sister, Marlene Eslinger of Mishicot; one nephew, David (Julie) Eslinger of Port Washington; and a niece, Mary (Thomas) Herpel of West Bend, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Raymond Eslinger.
A private graveside service was held at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory of Manitowoc assisted the Selle family with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.lakeshorefamilyfuneralhomes.com
