Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to the Bucks lineup Sunday to score 49 points in a 117-114 victory over Brooklyn.
Antetokounmpo hit 21-of-36 floor shots, adding eight rebounds, four assists, and three blocked shots.
Milwaukee needed all of that because Kevin Durant scored 42 points and had 10 rebounds for Brooklyn, however he missed a 3-pointer at the final buzzer.
Milwaukee’s third win in the last four outings moves the team to within two-and-a-half games of first place in the N-B-A Eastern Conference.
The Bucks and Nets meet again in the Fiserv Forum Tuesday night (May 4th).
