The Milwaukee Bucks managed to extend their winning streak to four games in a row by taking a 135-134 nail-biter over Washington Wednesday night.
Russell Westbrook stole the ball in the closing seconds, but a 50-foot shot by Garrison Mathews missed the mark.
Westbrook had a triple-double with 29 points, 17 assists, and 12 rebounds, and Bradley Beal scored 42 but it wasn’t enough to give the Wizards the win.
Jrue Holiday came up big for Milwaukee, scoring 29, while Giannis Antetokounmpo added 23 as the Bucks stayed three games out of first place in the Eastern Conference with six games left in the regular season.
The next action for Milwaukee sees the Houston Rockets visiting Friday.
