Milwaukee Bucks play-by-play announcer Jim Paschke is retiring after calling the team’s games for 35 years.
He has been the voice of the Bucks for more than 2,000 games on local television to regional sports networks.
Paschke’s complete career actually covers 48 years, including radio and starting in Madison.
He has won five regional Emmy Awards and was inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2007.
He was also inducted into the Milwaukee Media Hall of Fame seven years ago.
Paschke will officially retire at the end of the current N-B-A season.
