Daniel Vogelbach’s homer provided the other run, while seven Milwaukee pitchers shut down the Marlins offense on just six hits over 10 innings. Josh Hader earned his third victory and Drew Rasmussen got the save.
Milwaukee salvaged the last two games of the road trip after dropping six-in-a-row.
Sunday’s victory keeps them two games behind the Cardinals in the N-L Central Division – the team they host starting Tuesday in a three-game series.
