He got the new trial he requested, but accused wife-killer Mark Jesen won’t have his bail lowered.
Jensen was found guilty of poisoning his wife with antifreeze in 1998.
Earlier this year, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled he should get a new trial.
His trial judge had permitted evidence that shouldn’t have been admitted.
Julie Jensen had written a letter saying if anything happened to her, her husband should be the first suspect. The Supreme Court decided that admitting the letter was a legal error.
Jensen has maintained his innocence.
