The hot-shooting San Antonio Spurs connected on nearly 60 percent of their shots while rolling to a big halftime lead, then coasting to a 146-125 win over Milwaukee Monday night.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the visitors with 28 points while four Spurs scored at least 20, led by All-Star guard DeMar DeRozen’s 23.
The Bucks hit half their floor shots, but weren’t connecting on 3-pointers, missing 28-of-41.
The loss ended a five-game win streak for Milwaukee, and knocks the Bucks a full game behind Brooklyn with four left in the N-B-A regular season.
The team returns home to host the Orlando Magic tonight (May 11th) at the Fiserv Forum. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM in a game you can hear on 97.1 FM WCUB, and at CubRadio.com.
