Meanwhile, the Nets were 115-107 winners over the Chicago Bulls.
The Bucks hold the tie-breaker with Brooklyn, so all they have to do is tie them.
Milwaukee plays two of its last three games on the road, while the Nets have three at home.
The Bucks play at Indiana against the Pacers Thursday night.
