One of the Wisconsin Badgers’ top-rated football recruits has been named Wisconsin High School Player of the Year by Gatorade.
Hunter Wohler of Muskego had already been named A-P State Player of the Year twice and had led his team to state championships.
The four-star prospect is expected to play safety for defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard’s position group.
Wohler is regarded as one of the best safeties in Wisconsin high school football history.
