A Brown County jury took four hours to find an accused killer guilty on all charges Friday.
The trial for 34-year-old Brion Hatcher had lasted five days.
Hatcher was convicted on charges of first-degree intentional homicide, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and misdemeanor bail jumping.
Prosecutors told the court Tavarious Edwards was shot to death in the basement of a Green Bay home in the winter of 2019.
People interviewed by police said Hatcher believed Edwards stole money from him or worked with people who did.
He fled to Milwaukee after the shooting, but returned two weeks later and was arrested.
