Roncalli hosted a multi-team Girls Softball Tournament Saturday at the Manitowoc Youth Sports Complex at Citizen Park.
The Jets were edged by Stockbridge/Hilbert 4-to-3, then dropped a 10-0 decision to Bonduel. Nicolet (nick-ah-LAY’) from Glendale also handed Roncalli a 20-9 defeat.
Other results from the tourney included Two Rivers over Nicolet 13-6, Bonduel blanked Kiel 3-0 and the Nicolet Knights posted an 11-0 win over the Kiel Raiders.
Also in non-conference Girls Softball action on Saturday, Manitowoc Lutheran defeated Sturgeon Bay 8-2.
Aubrey Schleis earned the win for the visiting Lancers, pitching all 7-innings and allowing 2-earned runs on 5-hits. Hailey Marohn, Alayna Engelbrecht and Olivia Siehr each had 2-hits for Manitowoc Lutheran.
The Lancers (now 5-3 overall, 3-3 in conference) will host Valders Thursday afternoon at 4:00.
