Rookie minicamp has given Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur his first close look at some rookies who could be important in the upcoming season.
First-round draft choice Eric Stokes and third-rounder Amari Rodgers got some attention from the staff last weekend.
LaFleur says Stokes has the size and speed to become a significant player. He also likes the way he communicates with the coaches.
He says Rodgers will focus on the receiver position first, but he’s also going to get some opportunities to return kicks to take advantage of his speed.
