First-degree intentional homicide charges have been filed against a 25-year-old Kenosha man accused in a shooting death last week.
Investigators say the incident started when Darnell Ridgeway and his brother argued about some water that had been spilled in the apartment they shared.
Before the evening was over, 18-year-old Dayshawn Davis had been killed early Friday.
Ridgeway was arrested in Illinois and is awaiting extradition back to Wisconsin.
When his brother failed to clean up the water, Ridgeway kicked him and their cousin out.
When the two, along with the cousin’s boyfriend, returned he allegedly got mad and started shooting. Davis suffered seven gunshot wounds.
