Gas prices throughout the country may be at record highs, but in a sliver of good news, Wisconsin’s average is below the national average, and Eastern Wisconsin boasts the lowest in the state.
The changes from last week were all over the place. Manitowoc, Calumet, and Outagamie County fuel prices saw no change, remaining at $2.83, $2.80, and $2.75 respectively, while Sheboygan County’s price rose two cents to $2.82.
Brown County saw a dip of four cents to $2.85, while Kewaunee and Door Counties saw a jump of five and seven cents respectively to $2.85 and $2.92.
The state average actually fell three cents to $2.87, while the national average soared six cents to the highest point it has been at in 6 years, $3.04.
