The Milwaukee Bucks could have rested their starters last Saturday against Miami, but if the Heat won that game, they had a chance to move up to a fifth-seeded position in the N-B-A playoffs and Milwaukee would avoid the team that ended things last year.
Instead, the Bucks whipped Miami 122-108.
Milwaukee owner Marc Lasry says that’s just what his team wanted.
In a Wednesday interview on C-N-B-C, Lasry says the Bucks “wanted to send a message.”
They wanted to play the Heat – and they got what they wanted.
The series starts Saturday at the Fiserv Forum.
