Two Rivers Police confirm that a number of firearms and other evidence plus an additional firearm were recovered in the vicinity of Monday night’s fatal shooting.
Two Rivers Police Chief Brian Kohlmeier says a “large police presence” has specifically been in the vicinity of the shooting the last several days at the intersection of School and 28th Streets conducting their investigation.
Police didn’t release any additional information including what kind or how many weapons were ascertained and a Police Spokesman didn’t confirm or deny to Seehafer News that officers still plan to be in the area conducting their investigation.
19-year-old Joshua Walcott of Manitowoc has been charged with First-Degree Intentional Homicide with the use of a firearm in the death of 17-year-old Malachi Myles Anthony Moore, a junior at Manitowoc Lincoln High School.
Others charged in connection with the incident include 19-year-old Rodney S.L. Anderson Jr, 19 -year-old Kaden Jones, and 21-year-old Malik Thomson all of Manitowoc, 48-year-old Todd P. Mueller (Miller) of Two Rivers and no address was given for William Lowe who remains in the County Jail on a Probation hold.
Walcott is due back in court for an initial appearance Monday afternoon at 1:30.
Meanwhile, Chief Kohlmeier speaks on behalf of the entire Two Rivers Police Department in ”thanking the citizens that have endured the interruption in their otherwise peaceful lives here in Two Rivers and extend our appreciation for their help and cooperation.”
