Bail is set at $2500 cash for a 40-year-old Mishicot man facing multiple charges related to an incident that required the Manitowoc County SWAT Team’s response on location in the Village of Mishicot.
Derek Kielkopf is charged with Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Violence Enhancer, Battery, and Recklessly Endangering Safety. Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Deputies and EMS personnel were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of East Main Street late Sunday afternoon on a disturbance call.
The initial report indicated there was an individual with a knife that refused to exit the residence. The SWAT team was then called in and they were able to take Kielkopf into custody about four hours later.
A 24-year-old female from Mishicot, a 25-year-old female from the City of Manitowoc, and a 27–year-old male from the City of Manitowoc were taken to Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers for treatment of unspecified injuries. Their identities and conditions have not been released and the investigation is ongoing.
The lone condition of bail is that Kielkopf has “no contact” with the victims. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for June 1st at 2:30 p.m.
