Roncalli successfully defended its’ Eastern Wisconsin Conference Golf title with a 7-shot victory over Sheboygan Falls yesterday at Autumn Ridge Golf Club.
The winning Jets of Coach John Haug had four linksmen among the top-10 finishers.
The meet medalist was Dakota Rezachek of the Two Rivers-Mishicot co-op with an 18-hole score of 83.
Kiel was 3rd in the team standings, followed by New Holstein and host Valders.
Roncalli’s Will Falconer & Kiel’s Andrew Heus tied for 2nd with an 84. Luke Pautz of the Jets wound up 4th at 87.
Yesterday’s event also marked the final EWC meet for Two Rivers Coach, Steve Rezachek, who is retiring after well over 20-years of coaching. Steve’s grandson, Dakota, was named EWC Golfer of the Year.
