Former Packers offensive lineman Jared Veldheer is retiring from the N-F-L again – after being handed a six-game suspension.
The 33-year-old tackle said in a statement Thursday that he plans to retire.
Veldheer told N-F-L Network that a Clomid prescription for abnormally low testosterone resulted in the suspension.
Green Bay lured Veldheer out of retirement in November of 2019 and he started in place of Bryan Bulaga in the N-F-C divisional playoff win over Seattle.
The Pack signed him last postseason after he had already played in the Colts’ first-round playoff loss.
A positive COVID test prevented him from taking the field for Green Bay.
