Two seniors at Manitowoc Lincoln High School have been honored by WOMT Radio.
Lauren Borchardt and Sam Jacobson received WOMT Female and Male Senior Athlete awards during a virtual presentation Wednesday evening in the Lincoln Auditorium.
Lauren excelled as a hurdler in track all four years and was a 4-year competitor in Volleyball, where she helped the Ships finish as a state runner-up.
Lauren achieved a GPA of 3.89 and plans on attending St. Norbert College, majoring in Biology. She also wants to compete in Volleyball and Track at the next level.
Jacobson competed in cross country, track and basketball all four years, was voted 1st team FRCC in cross country and helped lead the Ships to a 5th place finish at the alternate Spring State Meet in Janesville.
Sam compiled a 4-oh GPA and will attend the University of Wisconsin Madison to major in Actuarial Science.
