The Kids From Wisconsin new 2021 troupe will be presenting their themed production of “Live! In Living Color” around the state this summer, and one of their stops on the tour will be Manitowoc’s Washington Park on Thursday, July 22nd.
The show marks the first production since the onset of the pandemic a year ago.
Live! In Living Color will highlight the greatest live music venues in the history of this country and the musical artists that helping define their legacies. These include The Ed Sullivan Theater, Caesars Palace, The Grand Ole Opry, House of Blues and Broadway.
Their Manitowoc show at 6:30 pm on July 22nd is free and is made possible by the Manitowoc Marine Band with assistance from the City’s Parks and Recreation Department.
The stop at Washington Park will include an “Arts Spotlight” starting at 4:30 to allow local arts organizations & businesses greatly affected by the pandemic, to represent upcoming performances, programs & workshops to attendees before the Kids’ show and during intermission.
The Kids From Wisconsin schedule has a visit to Plymouth at the City Park Bandshell on July 13th and their production will be performed over 36-times from July 4th through-August 15th, including daily shows at the State Fair.
The cast of performers includes 2 from this area.
Noah Bartelt of Sheboygan Falls and a graduate of Sheboygan North High School. Noah just completed his sophomore year at Stanford University.
And Corby Kremer of Green Bay, a freshman at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
