In Girls Softball Tuesday: Manitowoc Lincoln traveled to Green Bay to face the state’s top-ranked Division-1 team.
The Ships dropped a doubleheader to the Preble Hornets by scores of 15-5 and 12-0. Lizzy Stuebs, Kailee Ansorge, Maria Kraynek and Olivia Konkle all had RBI’s as Lincoln actually scored more runs against Preble than any other team has in the FRCC, this season.
Meanwhile, Aubrey Schleis twirled a 1-hit shutout and drove in two runs to lead the Manitowoc Lutheran Softball team to a 10-0, 5-inning victory over Cedar Grove-Belgium.
Schleis fanned 7-batters and walked 4 in going the distance. Olivia Siehr went 2-for-3 with 2-RBI’s and a run scored.
The Lancers, now 5-and-4 in conference, 8-and-5 overall, have a doubleheader against Howards Grove tomorrow.
