A Milwaukee man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for robbing an undercover police officer.
Thirty-year-old Donquell Franklin entered a guilty plea in March. Authorities say task force officers were conducting an undercover investigation of illegal firearms sales four years ago when Franklin committed the armed robbery. He entered the vehicle of a task force officer, pointing a pistol at him while taking money, an iPhone, and the keys to the vehicle.
Other officers chased him from the scene and arrested him in Milwaukee.
