Manitowoc Lincoln & Roncalli Boys Golf Teams have qualified for Sectional competition by virtue of their top-4 finishes on the WIAA Regional level.
In the Division-1 tournament at Ridgeway Golf Course in Neenah. Sheboygan North easily won the team title with a score of 307, followed by the Ships at 341, the host Rockets had a 344 and Fond du lac carded a 345.
North sophomore Mason Schmidtke was meet medalist with a 66 while Lincoln junior Evan Dombrowski tied for 3rd with a 79. Teammates Max Schneider and Landon Stanislowski were part of an 8-way tie for 5th at 82.
Dakota Rezachek of Two Rivers/Mishicot was an individual qualifier & finished tied for 16th with an 89.
In the D-3 Regional At Quit Qui Oc Golf Course in Elkhart Lake, St. Mary’s Springs captured the team championship with a 340, 7-shots better than runnerup St. Mary Catholic.
Roncalli placed 3rd at 349 to advance to next week’s Sectional as a team.
Luke Pautz turned in the top performance for the Jets with an 85, good for a 3-way tie for 7th. His teammates, Will Falconer & Brayden Yanda tied for 10th after shooting an 87.
