A new grant program will provide two million dollars to improve Black maternal and infant health.
A wide range of community partners will be involved with the effort by the Wisconsin Partnership Program at the UW School of Medicine. The grants worth up to $150,000 will be focused on Dane, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Racine, and Rock counties, but other parts of the state will be allowed to apply.
The deadline for the filing of applications is set for June 28th.
