Workers at the Hufcor manufacturing facility in Janesville are protesting the parent company’s decision to move more than 150 jobs to Mexico.
The California-based capital investment firm that owns Hufcor has notified the state the employees will be laid off beginning August 3rd.
Those employees, their families, and neighbors protested outside the facility Thursday.
The building has been in Janesville for 120 years and many of those employees say they have been working at the plant for more than two decades.
