In Girls Fastpitch Softball last night, Manitowoc Lincoln scored 3-runs in the first inning and 3-more in the 6th enroute to a 9-to-6 win at Green Bay Southwest.
Maria Kraynek, Karenna Sorenson and Olivia Konkle each had 2-RBI hits for the Ships offense.
Sorenson pitched the first 4-innings with Lizzy Stuebs working the final 3 innings. The two of them combined on an 8-hitter with 8-strikeouts.
Manitowoc Lutheran was also a 9-to-6 winner over visiting Howards Grove in Big East Conference action.
Aubrey Schleis was the winning pitcher on a complete-game effort while Laura Heim suffered the loss for the Tigers.
Paige Zirbel, Jenna Lischka, and Schleis each had two hits for the Lancers, now 9-and-5, 6-and-4 in the conference.
Lutheran will host Roncalli at 11:00 tomorrow morning (June 5th) in a non-conference game.
