The Kiel School District has hired Jamie Vandermeuse as their Head Girls Basketball Coach succeeding Jaime Bushman who’s stepping down after 11 years at the helm.
Vandermeuse was an assistant coach at Brillion High School for the last two years serving as Head Coach Jeff Capelle’s assistant last season.
He is also a part-owner of Primary Companies in Brillion which specializes in trucking logistics.
In a news release, Vandermeuse says “I feel humbled and grateful to have the opportunity to lead the girls’ basketball program at Kiel. Youth and High School Sports have been a passion my entire life and I’m excited to bring that passion to this program. I plan to work alongside our other amazing coaches and staff at Kiel to maintain the educational and athletic experiences for all our students. My family and I are happy and excited to be a part of Raider Nation.”
Athletic Director Steve Walsh says “We are thankful for the 11 years that Coach Bushman served as Head Coach and what he brought to our program and community. By hiring Coach Vandermeuse many of the same principles and core values will continue to be a part of this program as well as continuing to challenge our student athletes both on and off the field and the community.”
