Margaret A. “Margie” LeClair, 89, Two Rivers, died Friday, June 4, 2021, at her residence.
Margie was born on May 5, 1932 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Chester and Edna (Taddy) Thiede. She graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers with the class of 1950. After high school, she studied and graduated nursing at Holy Family Nursing School.
After graduating nursing school she moved to Milwaukee for a short time, then moved back to Two Rivers and married Louis LeClair on Oct. 13, 1956, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Margie then went on to work at Memorial Hospital first part time 2nd shift, then full-time days nursing supervisor in different areas. She finished her professional nursing career at Holy Family Memorial in Special Procedures. After retirement she used her nursing skills to volunteer in the community.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie LeClair, Two Rivers; her daughter and son-in-law, Cherie and Terry LeClair, Crivitz; her son, Tim LeClair, Two Rivers; her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Darla LeClair, Two Rivers; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Greg Willert, Green Bay; her grandson, Jack LeClair, Two Rivers; and granddaughter, Olivia (Kennedy) Jones. One sister and three brothers, Katie Kershek and her husband, Kenneth Reich, Menomonee Falls, Bob and Ellen Thiede, Green Bay, John Thiede, Two Rivers, Gerald and Kay Thiede, Two Rivers; brothers-in-law, Tom LeClair Two Rivers, Roy and Judy Vigue Two Rivers; and sisters-in-law, Eilleen Mosuch, Two Rivers, and Rosemary LeClair Two Creeks. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband Louie, sister and brothers Eunice and Peter LeClair, Donald and Donna Thiede, Chester and Joan Thiede, Tom Thiede, and sister-in-law Rose Thiede; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Mary Jane and Don Nejedlo, Charles LeClair, Eugene LeClair, Frank LeClair, Margaret and Melvin Behrendt, Rosemary and Claude Richmond, Olive and Dick Weber, Jim and Katie LeClair, Patsy and George Schwerma, Bill Mosuch, Shirley Vigue.
Funeral services for Margie will be on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 12PM (Noon) at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers, with Rev. Dave Pleier officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the church from 10AM until the time of service at 12PM. A private family inurnment will be at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
The family of Margaret LeClair wishes to express their sincere thanks to the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, especially her team of Cariann, Rachel, Jessica and her caregiver Karen from Home Instead. The care and support they provided made a very difficult time much easier. The family also appreciates the thoughtfulness of Margie’s many friends and family who were so supportive through her illness.
Memorials can be made to the Wisconsin Parkinson Association in Margie’s memory.
