Beloit police are looking for the shooter who killed a man near Summit Park Monday morning.
Officers were called to the scene at about 11:30 a-m by reports of gunfire.
The victim’s mother says she heard the shots, came outside, and found her wounded son on the ground.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
Family members say he was generous, kind-hearted, and multi-talented.
They are urging whoever shot him to do the right thing and come forward.
Beloit police have reported no arrests.
