After taking a year off in 2020, the Lakeshore Balloon Glow is back and bigger than ever in 2021.
This year’s iteration will take place on Friday, August 20 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in a couple of locations in downtown Manitowoc.
The event will feature activities for kids of all ages. Performing this year on the Glow stage will be many acts, including dance, karate, juggling, magic, and much more.
There will also be several food trucks on hand to satisfy your hunger, and of course the stars of the show, the balloons.
A multitude of hot air balloons, which will remain tethered to the ground, will inflate, and light up the lakeshore skyline, and a fireworks show will end the festivities for the evening.
The Lakeshore Balloon Glow is run by volunteers from Downtown Manitowoc and is sponsored by Fox Communities Credit Union.
