Bail is set at $5000 recognizance for a 17-year-old Manitowoc teenager facing multiple charges after allegedly stealing a firearm and attacking a bartender with a skateboard.
Austin James Fuka is being tried as an adult on charges of Theft of a firearm, Possession of a Dangerous weapon by a person under the age of 18, Criminal Damage to Property, Disorderly Conduct and Alteration of Property Identification Marks.
Officers were called to the 10th Street Pub in Manitowoc on Memorial Day on a report of a disturbance where Fuka and 18-year-old Joshua Gadzinski-Smith of Manitowoc were denied service by the bartender. Gadzinski-Smith allegedly attempted to trade marijuana tabs for beer at the bar while Fuka allegedly threatened to shoot the woman calling her a bunch of obscenities. Plus, he allegedly smashed a window on location before fleeing the scene and falling. The alleged weapon fell to the ground which turned out to be stolen last month.
Conditions of bail are that Fuka have no contact with Gadzinski Smith, The Tenth Street Pub or any establishment whose sole purpose is to sell alcohol and not to possess any dangerous weapon.
His initial appearance is scheduled for June 28th at 1:30. Meanwhile, Gadzinski Smith is free on a $1500 recognizance bond on charges of Felony Possession of Marijuana Second Offense, Disorderly Conduct, and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon. His initial appearance is June 21st at 1:30.
