Track & Field Athletes from Manitowoc Lincoln High School brought home six conference titles last night from the FRCC meet held in Ashwaubenon.
The Ships boys team placed 3rd in their portion of the meet, led by Peter Schamburek, a double event winner in the discus with a throw of 144-feet, 7-inches, and in the shot put at 47-feet, 10-inches.
Sam Jacobson won the 800-meter run in 2:01.69 while Mason Gates took 1st in the 3200 in a time of 9:56.17.
In the Girls portion of the conference meet, Lincoln wound up 5th in the team standings & had two first-place finishers: Cayla Gunderson in the shot put at 32-feet-10-and-a-quarter inches and Lauren Borchardt captured the 100-Hurdles in 16.02 seconds.
Bay Port won the boys and girls conference team championships.
