The Manitowoc Bandits started the regular season in very successful fashion last night with a 12-0 romp over host Kewaunee.
Shad Hintz homered for the Bandits and the visitors enjoyed a six-run 6th inning in coasting to the win in their Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League opener.
Mike Ruzek added a bases-loaded double.
Manitowoc is scheduled to host the Algoma Guins Friday night in a 7:30 start at Municipal Field.
