Shawn Anthony Miller, age 43, a Manitowoc resident, passed away unexpectantly due to health related issues on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay, WI.
Shawn was born on September 20, 1977 in Two Rivers, WI. He worked as a general contractor and was also a skilled butcher. Shawn loved to cook for his family and friends and even won several cooking contests at local fairs and festivals. Shawn truly had a heart of gold and constantly went out of his way to help others in hopes to make their day a bit brighter and their lives a bit easier. He was a kind-hearted and generous person. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, the ocean, spending time laughing and joking with family and friends, and hugs and kisses with his dog Scully.
Shawn a loving son, brother, and uncle will be sadly missed by his parents, John and Nancy Miller (Whitelaw), brother, Greg Miller (Golden, CO), sister, Stacey Gorka (Lakeland, FL), nieces, Allison and Jasmine Gorka (Lakeland, FL), nephews, Mason and Tanner Gorka (Lakeland, FL) very special friend, Katherine Penisten (Manitowoc, WI), and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Gill’s Bar and Grill, 231 E Menasha Ave, Whitelaw, WI. The family will greet relatives and friends starting at 11AM with prayer and lunch to follow from 12:00-1:30PM. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
