The city of Green Bay is asking the Wisconsin Elections Commission to dismiss a complaint from five people about the November vote count.
The complaint was filed in April. The group claims local election officials violated state and federal laws when they changed the conditions of the election.
Its members object to the role played by the Center for Tech and Civic Life after it awarded Green Bay a $1.6 million grant.
The city filed a response Tuesday saying the complaint isn’t timely and doesn’t offer facts showing probable cause that the law was violated.
