When the Cincinnati Reds arrived at American Family Field Milwaukee was the hottest team in the National League.
Now, that’s the Reds.
Cincinnati completed a three-game sweep Wednesday by taking a 2-1 decision behind starter Tyler Mahle. Reds pitching held Milwaukee to nine hits and four runs in the three games.
Freddy Peralta lost for the second time this season despite pitching seven strong innings, giving up only two runs on five hits, with no walks.
Christian Yelich drove in the only Brewers run.
Brandon Woodruff tries to turn things around tonight (June 17th) in Colorado when he starts the first game of a four-game set. The first pitch is at 7:40 PM on 107.9 FM WOMT and at WOMTRadio.com.
