No sense waiting until the last minute. The Wisconsin women’s basketball program has offered a scholarship to a Minnesota eighth-grader.
Aaliyah Crump will be playing as a freshman this coming winter at Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
Crump played on the school’s jayvee team last year.
She’s listed as six feet tall and reportedly has a smooth shooting stroke and the jumping ability to get to the rim.
Other programs will see her because two of her teammates are rated in the top 40 players in the country.
So far, it appears no other offers have been made.
