Manitowoc’s I-43 Industrial Park officially welcomes a new occupant this afternoon (June 21st).
AMMO INC., a high-quality technology-driven ammunition company with headquarters in Los Angeles, breaks ground at 1 p.m. on a state-of-the-art 160,000 square-foot facility at the corner of West Custer and 63rd Streets.
AMMO INC. sits on 36 acres of land and will consist of 18,000 square feet of office space, a state-of-the-art underground ballistics shooting range, ten shipping and receiving docks, and house all state-of-the-art equipment.
The facility will be designed with the capability to expand to over 200,000 square feet with expectations to employ over 300 people over the next five years.
Scheduled speakers include Mayor Justin Nickels along with NASCAR legends and board members Rusty Wallace and Richard Childress.
AMMO INC. Executive Vice President and Secretary Tod Wagenhals will emcee today’s festivities.
