A former justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court will lead the investigation into what Assembly Speaker Robin Vos calls “voting irregularities.”
Michael Gableman will coordinate the efforts of three retired police officers who will be conducting the probe.
Vos announced the appointment of Gableman Saturday at the state Republican Convention in the Wisconsin Dells.
Gableman told convention delegates he will fight for them to get to the bottom of what happened during last year’s presidential election.
The conservative Gableman served one term as a justice, deciding he wouldn’t run for reelection in 2018.
