It appears as those the COVID-19 pandemic is coming to an end in Manitowoc County.
All last week, there were only five new cases of the virus reported in the County by the Health Department, which is equal to the single-day high in the entire month.
There were no new deaths reported all week, with that number remaining at 74, while the number of people hospitalized in the area dropping by five down to 11 as of Friday (June 25th).
On the vaccination front, 740 shots were administered last week, with 243 of them being first doses. That leaves the total number of shots administered at 69,741, and 36,957 of those being first doses.
The Manitowoc County Health Department is no longer issuing daily updates, as they begin to turn their attention to other health issues in the County, and we will only be issuing one update a week.
