Florence Burmeister, 76 years old, of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, peacefully passed away at Holy Family Memorial Hospital Friday, June 25, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.
Florence was born May 31, 1945 to Helen and Frank Grimm. Upon receiving her degree from County Teacher’s College she taught at Mishicot Elementary School. She married Herman Burmeister in 1982 and they enjoyed traveling and being with their family for the better part of 39 years. Herman preceded her in death in 2015. Florence is survived by her brother: Dennis Grimm, and other family members.
The family would like to sincerely thank all of the friends and health caregivers whose love and kindness supported Florence through this battle. Her years spent at Felician Village and her last days at Holy Family Memorial Hospital with the nurses, doctors and hospice caregivers will be remembered as loving, supportive, and gracious.
Private funeral services will be held according to Florence’s wishes.
