Wisconsin’s Republican legislative leaders say former President Donald Trump is “misinformed” and they are pushing two investigations into last November’s presidential election.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu responded to criticism from Trump when asked to comment at the annual Republican Party convention in the Wisconsin Dells. The former president had suggested that Vos and LeMahieu didn’t do enough to force a recount or check the final vote totals.
He said Republicans need to demand a full forensic review of the Wisconsin vote.
