Mishicot edged Phillips this morning 2-to-1 in the semifinals of the WIAA State Girls Softball Tournament at UW-Green Bay. With the win over the Loggers, the Indians advance to the Division-4 State championship game this afternoon against Juda/Albany.
The tourney’s 4th seed upset top-seeded Blair-Taylor in the first state semifinal this morning, 7-to-5. The title ballgame between Mishicot and Juda/Albany is scheduled to begin at 4:30 and, it’ll be broadcast on 97.1 WCUB.
