Led by seven-foot center Brook Lopez’s 33 points, the Bucks dominated in the paint while whipping Atlanta Thursday night 123-112.
Milwaukee was playing without two-time M-V-P Giannis Antetokounmpo but is now, it is just one win away from playing in the N-B-A Finals for the first time since 1974.
Bobby Portis, who replaced Antetokounmpo in the starting lineup, scored 22 points. Khris Middleton has 26, 13 rebounds, and eight assists, while Jrue Holiday put up 25 points and 13 assists.
The Hawks were playing without point guard Trae Young. He may be able to go in Game 6 Saturday, but Antetokounmpo’s status for that game isn’t known.
