Area residents who are able to give blood have four donation opportunities in Manitowoc County this month.
The first one by the American Red Cross is coming up Monday in Two Rivers at Tapped on the Lakeshore, 3114 Memorial Drive from 12:30 to 5pm. The next blood drive is July 15th from 2-to-6pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 2426 North Rapids Road. That’s followed by another gifting opportunity on Monday, July 26th between 8:30 and 1:30 at the Kiel Community Center, 510 3rd Street. And, the 4th and final blood drive of the month takes place in Lincoln Park Cabin #1 at 1215 N. 8th Street on Friday, July 30th between the hours of 11:30 and 4:30.
A recent news release from the Wisconsin Region of the American Red Cross noted that the ARC continues to experience a severe blood shortage that’s negatively affecting blood-product availability across the country.
