The Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation is handling two shootings during Tuesday morning (July 13th) rush hour that left two men dead in Racine County.
Sheriff Christopher Schmaling says a video shows a shooter kill a man pumping gas at the Pilot Travel Center in Caledonia at about 7:30 a-m.
The 22-year-old victim was from Elkhorn.
The 32-year-old shooting suspect from Hartland drove off, then pulled into a gas station about two miles away.
An undercover Racine County investigator saw he had a gun in his hand and the two exchanged gunfire.
Both were hit and the suspect died at the scene.
The investigator is being treated at Ascension Hospital in Racine.
