A Dane County judge has bound the accused killer of U-W-Madison student Brittany Zimmermann over for trial.
55-year-old David Kaul made a Thursday video court appearance from Oshkosh Correctional Institution.
Several experts gave testimony in a preliminary hearing that lasted more than two hours.
Kaul was charged with first-degree intentional homicide last year.
Zimmermann was stabbed to death in her Madison apartment in April 2008.
A public defender told the court there was almost no evidence tying Kaul to the crime – other than that from a “jailhouse snitch.”
