An accidental shooting Sunday morning has sent a 41-year-old Dodge County man to the hospital.
Emergency responders were called to a home in Beaver Dam at about 10:45 a-m.
The victim was suffering from a single gunshot wound to his upper chest. His name hasn’t been released.
Authorities say he was conscious while he was transported by ambulance to a hospital.
He was later airlifted to U-W Hospital in Madison where his condition hasn’t been released.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office hasn’t announced any arrests in connection with the incident.
