Manitowoc split a pair of American Legion baseball games Saturday at the Plover Tournament.
Legion Post-88, which ended the tourney with a 2-and-2 record, dropped a 7-1 decision to Sheboygan in the opener.
Cody Morrow threw a complete game for the victory with 7-strikeouts while Brandon Stephany took the loss as Manitowoc was held to just 3-hits.
In the 2nd game, Post-88 trailed 2-1 after 4 innings but rallied for 3 in the 5th and 3-more in the 6th for a 7-2 victory over Eau Claire.
Josh-Uhlhorn earned the win in relief of starter Jacob Gallagher while Brandon Stephany led the offense going 3-for-4 with a double, 2-runs scored and 2-RBI.
Manitowoc ends the regular season at 10-and-4 heading into Regional Tournament play Wednesday at Sheboygan.
They’ll meet the Fond du Lac/Menomonee Falls winner at 7:30 that evening.
The host team battles Cedarburg at 5:00 PM.
